We've searched high and low to find the car finance support available for you during the Coronavirus crisis. We're will continue to update this blog as and when we source more support or update existing. We've also gathered the support available for mortgages, energy providers, councils, telecoms providers, and credit cards.

Admiral Car Finance

If you cannot afford an upcoming payment, complete the form on their website to explain your circumstances. Payment holidays do not feature on Admiral’s loans, however if your income has been affected by Coronavirus this may be negotiable, along with payment reductions and referrals.

Complete an 'Apply for help' form on Admirals's website.

Advantage Finance

You can apply for a three month payment break which will then be added to the end of your payment terms (so a 48 month contract will become a 51 month contract). No additional interest or charges will be added,

Black Horse


You can apply for a payment holiday for either one month or three months. The loan will still accrue interest at your normal rate, which will be added to your balance later. This will not exceed £100 a month. If you cannot make an upcoming payment within the next five days, call to discuss your options.

Blue Motor Finance

Blue Motor Finance have procedures in place to help customers who are financially vulnerable during this time.

To discuss your options call their Customer Services team on 0203 005 9330, between 8am-6.30pm Mon-Fri, Sat & Sun 9am-5pm.

Hitachi

You can apply to defer payment for up to three months by filling out the form on the website. Deferring payments will result in increased costs in the long term as interest will continue to accrue.

MotoNovo

MotoNovo are now offering three month payment deferrals, which you can apply for through the MyMoneyManager service on the website. You can also email [email protected] or call 0333 200 0030, however due to high contact volumes, the online service is recommended. You can find an FAQ page here.

Oodle Car Finance

Oodle have a number of support options available, including payment holidays, however they're assessing customer situations on a case by base basis and ask that you get in touch to discuss your individual circumstances so they can find the best solution for you. Specialist Motor Finance

Specialist Motor Finance are offering payment holidays of up to three months for those financially affected by Covid-19. Their full statement can be found here, with more information on their FAQ page here.

Startline

Startline are offering various options to help customers financially impacted by Covid-19, including payment deferrals in some cases. Details can be found here.
